De docent maakt de cursus prettig en verdient absoluut 5 sterren. Over de service van Fuentes ben ik helaas veel minder positief.
Oorspronkelijk wilde ik de lessen op woensdagavond volgen. Die groep ging niet door, waardoor ik noodgedwongen naar de dinsdagavond ben gegaan. Als de oorspronkelijke groep wel was doorgegaan, had ik geen les willen inhalen.
Bij het intensieve traject bestaat de cursus uit 5 langere lessen, waarin per bijeenkomst ongeveer de stof van twee reguliere lessen of hoofdstukken wordt behandeld. Bij het gewone traject kan les 1 niet worden ingehaald, maar les 2 in principe wel.
Ik vroeg daarom of ik alleen het tweede hoofdstuk van mijn eerste intensieve bijeenkomst met een andere groep kon volgen. Mij werd verteld dat de volledige intensieve bijeenkomst als les 1 wordt gezien en dat dit daarom niet mogelijk was. Die uitleg kan ik niet terugvinden in de informatie over inhalen op de website. Uiteindelijk heb ik deze lesstof dus niet kunnen inhalen.
Administratief kan ik begrijpen hoe zo'n regel ontstaat, maar vanuit de cursist voelt het vreemd dat dezelfde leerstof bij het gewone traject wel inhaalbaar kan zijn en bij het duurdere intensieve traject niet.
Fuentes presenteert klassikale groepslessen en flexibiliteit nadrukkelijk als voordelen. Mijn ervaring is dat die flexibiliteit in de praktijk al binnen het A-niveau behoorlijk beperkt kan zijn en dat er weinig wordt meegedacht wanneer het standaardrooster niet goed aansluit.

Ultimately, I was therefore unable to catch up on this material. Administratively, I can understand how such a rule arises, but from the student's perspective, it feels strange that the same material can be caught up on in the standard track, but not in the more expensive intensive track.
Fuentes explicitly presents classroom group lessons and flexibility as advantages. My experience is that, in practice, that flexibility can be quite limited even within the A-level, and that there is little willingness to cooperate when the standard schedule does not align well.
Regarding Fuentes' response:
This response actually confirms exactly what I mean in my review. My request is reduced to "catching up on half a lesson," whereas my point is precisely about the lack of service and flexibility. That flexibility turns out to be limited even within the A-level, because there are few groups and time slots available. And given this response, I now understand better why.

Fuentes is een hele fijne plek om Spaans te leren. Martha is een super lerares. Ik deed de intensieve cursus, waardoor we vooral in onze vrije tijd de opdrachten en huiswerk moesten maken. Daardoor bleef in de les veel tijd over om echt te oefenen met spreken, luisteren en lezen. Op deze manier haalden we het maximale uit onze cursus. Martha legt alles super uit en neemt echt de tijd.
